The program uses a social justice, public health framework to strengthen the capacity of health and education stakeholders to remove barriers to healthy outcomes and learning for the entire student population. CSHE supports schools with school-based health centers in partnering with health departments, community agencies and others, to integrate public health principles, strategies, and policies in the clinic and throughout the school, for increased graduation and equity.
